# ABOUT

Sudarshan Pant is a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. His research focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), with specific expertise in trustworthy AI, multimodal deep learning, affective computing, and healthcare AI. Sudarshan received his PhD in Multimedia Engineering from Mokpo National University in South Korea, where he also earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the same field. His work explores how AI systems can understand and respond to human emotions, enhance medical decision-making, and ensure ethical, transparent, and reliable and Trustworthy AI applications.
